About Dr. Fortunato Mazzei

Dr Fortunato was born and raised in Melbourne. He completed his initial undergraduate training in Anatomy and Pharmacology at the University of Melbourne. Dr Fortunato then completed his paramedic degree and worked as an Advanced Life Support paramedic in Melbourne for many years, eventually working in rural Victoria. The exposure to country life enticed him to relocate to the Central Highlands.

Once settling into country life, he completed his medical degree at Deakin University in Geelong. He then carried out his post vocational training at Ballarat Health Service, where he undertook multiple rotations including surgical and emergency rotations. On completion of his post vocational training Dr Fortunato worked in the Central Highlands completing his specialty training in General Practice.

Dr Fortunato completed his Accredited Combined Foundation & Advanced Botox® and Dermal Filler Training in Melbourne. Dr Fortunato has a deep understanding of facial anatomy, physics and aesthetics and enjoys working in a field where science and medicine meet beauty.

Dr Fortunato understands that every person and face is unique, and requires an individualised treatment approach to enhance natural beauty or correct areas where a patient may have a concern. He believes in patient centered care, and your goals are his priority.

Dr Fortunato is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Partitioners.
